XTC Bumper Book of Fun on Radcliffe and Maconie

Image
XTC's Andy Partridge and editor Mark Fisher will be on BBC Radio 6 Music's Radcliffe and Maconie show on the afternoon of Wednesday 13 September talking about The XTC Bumper Book of Fun for Boys and Girls.

Yesterday, Stuart Maconie gave the appearance a plug before a welcome blast of Are You Receiving Me.

His description of the early sound of XTC was fabulously vivid: "Exhibiting all the bug-eyed, knock-kneed kind of geek weirdoness that was their stock in trade at the time."

Yesterday's show is online until mid August. Listen here: Radcliffe and Maconie 20 July 2017.
